In a recent QuickTip we discussed how shifts were added and deleted from a schedule using in-cell editing and the copy and paste features. In this QuickTip we will talk about another way to add shifts, shift templates.
The advantage of the Kronos shift template is the consistency.
The shifts are always there, and they don't change. Now, it's possible that a user may choose the wrong template, but if the correct template is chosen, then the correct shift is applied. The other great thing about shift templates? They are really easy to use! It may be a good way to get your managers to apply shifts in a more error free way. Give them a try!
