We've been talking a lot about Kronos Workforce Genies over the last few weeks, and today we will continue that discussion by covering the Pay Period Close genie.

Like all default Kronos Workforce Timekeeper genies, the Pay Period Close genie has a specific purpose.

It is suggested that the Reconcile Timecard genie be viewed daily by managers, to avoid a great deal of backflow at the end of the pay period.  The Pay Period Close genie is used on the first day of a new pay period to review the previous pay period.  The purpose for this genie is made clear by simply reviewing the column headers.  This QuickTip reviews what the Pay Period Close genie provides, and why that information is important.  Take a moment to review this video and let us know what you think by filling in the survey below!
