QuickTip - Adding and Editing Scheduled Shifts in Kronos Timekeeper

So let's talk about scheduling. The next few QuickTips will discuss the Schedule Editor in Workforce Timekeeper, and the different features and functions within it. The basic scheduling application in Workforce Timekeeper is very useful for so many reasons and here are just a few...

  • Obviously, scheduling in Kronos allows users to track scheduled vs. actual hours.

  • Scheduling allows users to input PTO and other non worked time well in advance of it being used.

  • Scheduling allows users to record shifts with built-in labor account, work rule and organizational job transfers so that the transfers take place as soon as the employee clocks in.

  • Scheduling allows for better exception tracking in the Kronos time card.

In this QuickTip, we will discuss adding and deleting schedule shifts. Basic stuff, but useful to the new user. Here's hoping it will be a good refresher to the rest of you as well!
